NeAT Surgical LLC. was founded by a group of faculty members at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. We recognize there was a growing gap between the current and inaccurate conventional jig systems and the expensive and bulky robotic systems. Surgeons desire to see and feel what they are doing in the OR without a large machine between them and the patient. Our technology gracefully balances the precision and consistency of a robot with the sleek wireless design of smart power tools every orthopaedic surgeon is accustomed to.

Our freehand navigated bone saw is the result of millions of dollars of research and development with a cumulative 125 years of medical practicing experience behind its conception. Our saw allows surgeons to finally have an affordable option for elevating their care with state-of-the-art technology.

Our company is based around a robotic platform that assists in planning, execution, and performance of total joint arthroplasty surgery. Our prototype is programmed for the use in total knee arthroplasty surgery, with a vision to cover a wide array of surgical procedures.
